And we are nearly there. Bloodstock is nearly upon us. A weekend of merriment with friends we know, friends we don’t know and friends we are yet to know. Over the weekend it becomes a small village and like any small village you get to know people really quickly. It becomes a cacophony of smiles, waves and hugs with people you meet but once a year. God bless Bloodstock and God bless our number six as this will be one of the most talked about sets outside of Ice Mutha flicking T. We give you:

6. Heavysaurus – Ronnie James Dio - Thursday, quarter to six.

Bloodstock loves dinosaurs. The regular dinosaur mosh pit proves this. Every year the site is full of dino/metal enthusiasts in blow up dinosaur customs. However this year they are ratcheting up the dino-meter to 11. Heavysaurus are the metal dinosaur crossover we never knew we needed in our lives. Hailing from Finland and starting off as children's entertainers, this bunch of dinos (and one random Dragon) exist to bring metal to your offspring. So expect Jurassic Park meets the Wiggles via Spinal Tap,  with over-the-top covers and plenty of dino stomping. It is the perfect act to open up the extra-long mainstage weekend. So get ready to roar, get ready to do Jeff Goldblum startled looks, its dino time!!!
