Winger hit the stage with a blast from the past, reminding us why they were such a force during the glam-metal era. It's also a rare treat to have 80's rock royalty grace the stage in Manchester, certainly as a support act, and as they move through their set they prove they've still got it.

It's clear these guys have honed their skills over the years, delivering a high-energy performance that hits all the right notes. Kip Winger's vocals are absolutely phenomenal. Not only that, but he knows how to work the crowd, but you can’t help but feel that the crowd are eager for that full-on Steel Panther-esque banter. In fact, the crowd get a taste of what’s to come when Steel Panther’s Michael Starr makes a surprise appearance on stage.

But it’s when they unleash their familiar tunes, that the crowd goes wild. Sing-alongs, cheers, and a whole lot of nostalgia fill the air. It’s a solid celebration of their place in glam-metal history though, and when the band showcases their musical talent and Kip Winger's powerful vocals, they remind us of why they were such a force to be reckoned with back in the day. As expected from an 80's rock performance, there’s an abundance of plectrum flicking and throwing, a nostalgic gesture that fans still enjoy, and if you're a fan of the glam-metal era, a Winger gig will transport you right back to those glory days.

The crowd is immediately captivated by their larger-than-life presence, and the room erupts into a frenzy of excitement. You can't help but be drawn into their world of outrageousness and nostalgia for the glory days of glam-metal.

Musically, Steel Panther prove they’re no joke as well.
