We love a trier at ROCKFLESH; not for us those who have achieved instantaneous success. We favour those who diligently and slowly and perseveringly climb up the greasy pole that we call Metal. Heart of Coward are one of those. They have been at this for ten years, they are on their third vocalist and they are still stuck early doors on the third stage. But don’t let any of that put you off as they are ace. Metalcore for those who don’t usually go in for all that stuff. This is meaty, weighty heavy stuff but with melody shot through the middle and real groove. If Pantera and Killswitch Engage had a baby and got Machine Head to bring it up that would be Heart Of Coward. And they’ve got the songs, you may not know them but believe me by early Sunday afternoon in the Avalanche stage you will be screaming along with them as they have been part of your life for ruddy ever,. It’s your new favourite band, all ready to go! What else do you want?
