We are delighted to announce our 2nd and final event of the evening. This one is for you classic rockers and NWOBHM fans.
Kicking off the night we have Manchester based rockers Bring Guns. Bring Guns are a Classic Heavy Rock and Melodic Metal band from Manchester. With a wide range of influences from Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden to Motorhead and Opeth - the music is punchy and melodic with powerful vocals, backed by a solid driving rhythm section, and topped by twin lead guitars. The were recently impressing in both Satans battle of the band and M2TM Manchester.
Up next we have Newcastle based hard rockers Speeder. Theyare a four-piece hard rock band from Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, who play loud, dirty rock n' roll in the vein of the greats - Motorhead, Maiden, GNR, etc. Check out their debut album, Speeder, right here on Spotify and look out for them at a sweaty dive near you in the very near future.
We are delighted to announce to bringing NWOBHN icons Rhabstallion back as our headliners. The band started in the late 1970s and became known on the UK underground metal scene. They recorded demos and released the single Day to Day / Breadline in 1981. Rhabstallion also appeared on the New Electric Warriors compilation, a widely sought NWOBHM release from 1980. They even performed on the BBC music show Bubbling Under during this early period. These boys are living legends and we so happy to have them back on another 0161 event.
