Loathe announce A Stranger To You album release show in hometown of Liverpool

Scouse fans rejoice - Loathe are celebrating the release of their long-awaited album A Stranger To You in Liverpool on the day it comes out...

Loathe are bringing the long wait for their new album A Stranger To You to an end in style with a hometown show in Liverpool.

The band will be performing at Liverpool’s Olympia on July 17, the day the album is released, with support from Heriot.

Tickets go on-sale Friday (May 29) at 10am.

A Stranger To You is Loathe’s first album for six years following 2020’s breakthrough effort I Let It In And It Took Everything. It features the previously released singles Gifted Every Strength and Revenant (featuring NOWHERE2RUN), as well as collaborations with Static Dress, Bucki Sugar, Mansur Brown and Jordan Rakei. It’s been described in a press release as their most “sonically adventurous work to date”.

Loathe’s Liverpool show follows a busy summer of festivals across Europe, including Outbreak Manchester at the end of June, as well as dates opening for Mastodon. They’ll hit the road in North America this autumn with Fleshwater and Prostitute.
