Janet Gardner is an American rock singer who is best-known as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the all-woman hard rock band Vixen. She joined the band in 1983 and stayed until calling it quits in 1991. She returned to Vixen when they reunited in 1997, but the reunion ended in 2001. When Jan Kuehnemund decided to reform Vixen in 2005, Janet wasn’t invited back, although was reunited with Vixen after the passing of Jan in 2013.
