Alexisonfire have announced an autumn UK and European tour.

The Canadian post-hardcore band will kick off the trek in Cardiff on October 14 and conclude it in the Netherlands on November 1. The UK leg will also include stops in Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Brighton and London, where they'll headline the O2 Academy Brixton. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on June 1.

Support will come from Boston Manor, and another band that'll be announced at a later date. Co-lead vocalist George Pettit said:

"Something special happens when Alexisonfire gets together. When we’re all on stage playing in the pocket, we elevate and the audience comes with us. Can't wait to play these shows!"

The quintet are hitting the road in support of their first studio album in 13 years, 'Otherness', which is due for release on June 24.

The announcement comes ahead of AOF's appearance at Slam Dunk festival this weekend, following which they'll head back across the pond to prepare for summer and fall North American gigs.
